There is absolutely NO WAY that the Canadian Banks all went down simultaneously. Trudeau can now order the banks to do as he commands and this is what is very similar to Hitler. They cannot disobey. What does that do to the confidence in Canada as a nation? This undermines the confidence in Canada as even a safe haven in the face of a European war. No bank has dared to try to explain the source of the outrage. If this was non-related to Trudeau, then all Canadian sites would have gone down – not just the banks.

Police have clashed with protesters in Canada's capital as they move to end an anti-vaccine mandate demonstration.

The operation started early on Friday morning in downtown Ottawa with 15 arrests made.

Police have now accused protesters of using children as a shield between lines of officers and the protest site.

The police action comes after the government invoked the Emergencies Act to crack down on the three-week protest.

A group of protesters have remained in the city in defiance of orders to leave.

"Freedom was never free," protester Kevin Homaund told the Associated Press. "So what if they put the handcuffs on us and they put us in jail?"

Footage from the scene showed hundreds of police officers advancing into the heart of the protest zone, next to Parliament Hill.

Some of the remaining protesters formed a line in front of approaching officers, linking arms and singing O Canada - the country's national anthem.

Ottawa police have set up almost 100 police check-points around the main protest site as well as a large business and residential district in the city centre to prevent more protesters from entering the area.

"DEMONSTRATORS: You must leave," Ottawa police wrote on Twitter. "Anyone within the unlawful protest site may be arrested."

King is the latest high profile convoy organizer to be arrested. Organizers Chris Barber and Tamara Lich were to be in court Friday after being arrested Thursday evening. They both face charges of counselling to commit mischief. Barber was also charged with counselling to disobey a court order and counselling to obstruct police.

The Canadian police have shown the entire world that they are no different from the Nazis of Germany whose excuse was the same – just following orders. It is "insane" what Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is now doing, says Sky News host Rowan Dean.

"Justin Trudeau has declared an emergency act," Mr Dean said.

"The strongest and most repressive tool in his government to try and silence and starve these people – to stop them getting their hands on their own money, to stop them getting petrol, to stop them getting food.

" Mr Trudeau said the powers were needed to quell the continuing Freedom Convoy protests.

"This is terrifying," Mr Dean said.

The operation by law enforcement and tactical teams from multiple jurisdictions has been largely peaceful though police are equipped with tear gas and a range of other law enforcement tools in their bid to remove the encampment. Police say more than 100 people are now in custody, including Pat King, a prominent organizer with the demonstrations.

Seizing trucks as we speak. Police dressed as military infantry are taking people out of their trucks and cars using the most powerful weapons available to the military. They are seizing trucks, smashing windows, and arresting protesters.

Some of the demonstrators in the so-called “Freedom Convoy” blockade in downtown Ottawa have been arrested with body armour and smoke grenades as a police push to end the convoy encounters with what officials describe as “assaultive” and “aggressive” behaviour by the crowds. So far, police say they have arrested 47 people at the demonstration on Saturday, raising the number of vehicles towed since Friday to 38. Police say there have been 170 arrests total in their push to clear the blockade. Since yesterday, 46 vehicles from the secure zone downtown have been removed, Ottawa police said Saturday. In addition, 22 licence plates have been seized and 11 Commercial Vehicle Operator Registrations in Ontario have been suspended.

It appears from this video that Ottawa police shot rubber bullets into crowd of peaceful protestors at the Canadian Truckers Freedom Convoy tonight. I can't, however conclusively confirm that rubber bullets or tear gas were used, as I'm going by eyewitness accounts.
