French "freedom convoy" motorists protesting against COVID-19 restrictions will be blocked from entering Paris, the French capital's police authority said.

Despite an order not to enter Paris, motorists protesting against coronavirus restrictions are converging on the capital from cities across France, inspired by the horn-blaring demonstrations taking place in Canada.

Ontario premier Doug Ford announced that plans were in place to remove the vaccine passport system. He added that the Freedom Convoy protesters could expect steep fines for non-compliance.

In a bizarre display of aggression, Ontario Police have begun tracking down people who show their support for the Freedom Convoy 2022 on the popular online platform, Facebook. Groups on Facebook in support of the protest consist of hundreds of thousands of people. There's no telling what the resources involved in this kind of campaign will cost the tax payers of Ontario.
