The Dirección General de Tráfico (DGT) launches a campaign in which vigilance on the risk posed by alcohol and / or drug consumption and driving will be intensified, since in the last weeks have been recorded several accidents with fatalities in which those responsible for them have tested positive for alcohol and / or drugs.
During a week, the agents of Tráfico at Guardia Civil (ATGC) will intensify the controls on this risk factor that causes almost a quarter (24%) of fatal accidents. For this, different checkpoints will be established on all types of roads and at any time of the day in order to prevent people who have ingested alcohol or used drugs from circulating on the roads.
