Guardia Civil has completely dismantled a criminal organization dedicated mainly to trafficking cocaine in secret compartments in vehicles. In total, 20 people have been detained and 17 home searches have been carried out in the towns of Málaga, Córdoba, Torremolinos and Estepona. 21 kilograms of cocaine, 30 kilograms of hashish and 1,029,000 euros in cash have been intervened in the operation, among other effects.
23 homes, 2 parking spaces, 2 storage rooms, 1 farm and 15 vehicles (2 of them with secret compartments) have been blocked. Computer material and important documentation for the investigation have also been seized in this operation.
The operation began last June when investigators found out that a criminal group based in various Andalusian towns were involved in drug trafficking.
Drug and money transactions were carried out in underground garages.
