The Russian collusion theory now seems to be the “hoax of the century,” according to Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
Special counsel John Durham’s indictment of Igor Danchenko , the principal source for the bogus Steele dossier used by the FBI as a basis for the Trump-Russia investigation, further illustrates that Durham has his sights set on the Clinton campaign.
Danchenko has been charged with five counts of lying to the FBI in interviews during 2017, as the bureau struggled in futility to verify outlandish allegations that Donald Trump and his campaign were clandestine agents of the Kremlin. Those allegations were compiled in the so-called Steele dossier, which the FBI relied on in obtaining surveillance warrants from a secret federal court.
The dossier was generated by the Clinton campaign. Its principal author was former British spy Christopher Steele. Steele’s main source was Danchenko, a Russian native based in the United States who worked at the Brookings Institution — a Washington think tank whose former president, Strobe Talbott, is a college friend of Bill Clinton’s who worked in the Clinton State Department.

Special counsel John Durham’s indictments have turned any number of narratives on their heads, including the question of which 2016 presidential campaign was in bed with Russians. It wasn’t Donald Trump’s.
For five years, that’s been the story line. The original claim was that Russians had “cultivated” Mr. Trump as an asset and held blackmail evidence over his head. When those over-the-top accusations fell apart, Democrats shifted to arguing that Mr. Trump and his associates had secretly colluded with the Kremlin to win the election. The press strove mightily to unearth nefarious Trump campaign contacts with Russians, though it came up with little of substance.

Sky News host Rita Panahi says there has been an “important development” in the investigation into the origins of the discredited FBI’s Trump/Russian collusion theory.
In 2016, former MI6 agent Christopher Steele produced a dossier outlining sensational allegations against Donald Trump, alleging among a number of things criminal links with Russia.
Ms Panahi said the allegations have “long been discredited”.
“But it turns out there were sensational links – although not ones the Democrats wanted you to know about,” she said.
Hillary Clinton paid for the Steele dossier and then "filled it with rubbish contents," according to Northeastern University Associate Professor Max Abrahms.
In 2016, former MI6 agent Christopher Steele produced a dossier outlining sensational allegations against Donald Trump, alleging among a number of things criminal links with Russia.
"What we've discovered increasingly, including over the past week, is that the Steele dossier was totally nonsense," Mr Abrahms told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
"We knew previously that it was paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign, what we didn't fully realise is that the contents of that dossier was based on just completely made up statements by Hillary Clinton's own associates."

Tucker: Trump was right about this
Fox News host gives his take on the Durham probe on 'Tucker Carlson Tonight.'
Has Durham only scratched the surface of Hillary?
Who sponsored the Magnitsky Act which was retaliance to cover-up the entire plot? None other than John McCain, Hillary’s buddy who also just so happened to have handed her fake dossier on Trump to Comey at the FBI. Durham has only scratched the surface and there is no way the American press will allow this story to surface. The documentary on the Magnitsky Affair has also been banned in Europe and the United States. So much for the freedom of information.

A lawyer for Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign lied to the FBI to "manipulate" the agency in order to win the election, a court has heard.
Arguments in the trial of Michael Sussmann have begun with prosecutors saying he hoped to create an "October surprise" in the race's final weeks.
Mr Sussmann has pleaded not guilty.
He is the first defendant to go on trial in an investigation into the FBI's original probe to find if Donald Trump was conspiring with Russia.
The charges arise from a meeting between Mr Sussmann, a cyber-security lawyer, and an FBI agent in 2016.
Mr Sussmann presented what he claimed was evidence of suspicious internet traffic connecting the Trump Organization to Russia's Alfa Bank. The FBI looked into the allegation and found nothing suspicious.
Prosecutors say Mr Sussmann lied by not disclosing in the meeting that he was working for the Democrat's campaign. The indictment charges that he claimed not to be representing any particular client and that he presented himself purely as a concerned citizen.
A lawyer for Mr Sussmann denounced the trial as an "injustice" at Tuesday's hearing in a Washington DC federal courthouse.
Mr Sussmann is being charged by US Department of Justice Special Counsel John Durham, who was picked by the attorney general under President Trump in 2019 to investigate FBI misconduct in the original Trump-Russia investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
The Mueller inquiry concluded in 2019 that it could find no evidence of any criminal conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia, though it did determine Russia had sought to help Mr Trump win.
President Trump always said the Mueller inquiry was biased against him.

Former Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook told a federal court in Washington, DC on Friday that, in 2016, Hillary Clinton approved leaking to the media a story claiming that the Trump Organization had been in contact with Russia’s Alfa Bank. The story originated with one of Clinton’s lawyers, and is false.
Mook, who ran Clinton’s unsuccessful campaign in 2016, told the court that campaign lawyer Marc Elias approached him claiming to have proof that servers connected with Russia’s Alfa Bank exchanged data with servers belonging to the Trump Organization. He said that he had been assured that the evidence had come from “people that had expertise in this sort of matter.”
Mook said that nobody on the campaign was “totally confident” in the information, and that he asked Clinton whether he should release it to the media. “She agreed,” he said, and the information was released.
Once the claims were published by Slate, an online news source, the Clinton campaign put out a statement describing the supposed Alfa Bank server exchange as “the most direct link yet between Donald Trump and Moscow.” Then-Clinton adviser and current National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan wrote the statement, saying that the Alfa Bank allegations raise “even more troubling questions in light of Russia’s masterminding of hacking efforts … to hurt Hillary Clinton’s campaign.”
