The entire Spain moves into “the new normality” on Sunday 21 June by midnight at 12 am when the State of emergency ends. The travel restrictions will end within Spain, which also applies to travel between Spain and the countries within the European Union and the Schengen area. The remaining nation wide restriction is the obligatory to wear face mask when an interpersonal distance of 1.5 meters cannot be maintained. Furthermore, Community Meetings can also be held in Andalucía.

The regions can set restrictions, which mostly are aimed to regulate capacity of establishments and what kind of events that are allowed to be kept. The regional government of Junta de Andalucía has decided that the outdoor space of bars can be filled to 100% of normal capacity, meanwhile they can only have 75% of their usual tables indoors.

Even though the Spanish borders will open on Sunday 21 June, the border towards Portugal will not open until on 1 July. People from the UK will not have to be quarantined when arriving to Spain, regardless the fact that people who arrives to the UK have to be quarantined. People will be checked for symptoms of Covid-19 on arrival and they have to register to be able to be traced.

The fine to not comply with the restriction of wearing face masks is 100 EUR.

Community Meetings

Community Meetings can be held in Andalucía, but it's recommended not to have more participants than 75% of the maximum capacity and other measures (hygiene, social distancing, etc.) must be respected.
