The provinces of Málaga and Granada, which include Costa del Sol and Costa Tropical, will move into Phase Two on Monday 1 June. People will regain more of their freedom. The timetables for walking and exercising will be revoked, beaches will be open for bathing, swimming pools can be used with 30% of their capacity, etc.

The Spanish Government has decided to wear face masks will be compulsory from Thursday 21 May in all public spaces where a distance of two meters cannot be kept to others. It applies to everybody from the age of six years old.

Since most EU countries imposed flight bans or other restrictions, due to the outbreak of COVID-19, over 99% of Ryanair’s aircraft have been grounded. Ryanair is planning to return to 40% of normal flight schedules from Wed 1 July 2020, if Government restrictions on intra-EU flights will be lifted, and effective public health measures are put in place at airports.

Every one arriving to Spain will have to self-isolate for 14 days as a precaution to prevent the spread of coronavirus. It will apply to residents and non-residents coming from any other country and will take affect from Friday, 15 May.

Children have been allowed to get out since last Sunday. People will be allowed to get out from Saturday (2 May). One is allowed to carry out non-professional physical outdoors sports or go for walks that do not require contact with others. Timetables are set when different age groups are alowed to get out and the regulations for children under 14 years old have been altered.
