Guardia civil has dismantled an important criminal organization dedicated to trafficking large quantity of hashish from Morocco to Spain, within the framework of the operation "Desvanes-Dunas 20". The criminals have also offered their services to other gangs to trafficking drugs by “narcolanchas”.
Policía Nacional has, in collaboration with the Danish police authorities, arrested people belonging to a drug-trafficking organization and in relationship with an assassination attempt of a leader of another criminal organization as a result of a settling of scores about disagreements related to trafficking of drugs.
Policía Nacional has, with assistance of Europol, dismantled a network smuggling people from Morocco to Spain. 20 suspects have been detained and 6 houses searches has been taken place. More than 150 police officers were deployed in Spain to arrests the suspects, considered dangerous because of their history of violent crimes and suspected possession of weapons.
Guardia Civil and Policía National have dismantled a criminal organization dedicated to trafficking of cocaine in Costa del Sol. Seven people have been detained and more than two kilos of cocaine have been seized. The leader worked as a caretaker in a public school in Marbella and had a wealth of more than half a million euros, although the properties were listed in the names of different relatives.
Policía Nacional have detained 52 people in a macro-operation against an important international organization dedicated to producing, adulterating and distributing narcotic substances. The operation has been carried out in collaboration with the authorities of five foreign countries coordinated by EUROPOL.
The semi-submersible vessel was located in a warehouse in Monda and was deigned and made by a 55-year-old Cuban, called “Fidel”, who has lived in Marbella since the drug trafficking business by the Galician coast dried up with the fall of the main drug lords.
Guardia Civil and Policía Nacional have detained 21 people and searched 16 houses in Algeciras (Cádiz), Los Barrios (Cádiz) and Estepona (Málaga). The head of this organization was an old acquaintance of Policía Nacional and Guardia Civil (“Fuerzas y Cuerpos de Seguridad del Estado”), nicknamed “el Nimo”. He was the lieutenant of a drug-trafficker who fled from Justice and is known as "Messi”. The Police have detained both him and his closest collaborators.
Guardia Civil has dismantled a network trafficking lots of hashish and marijuana from Morocco. Besides trafficking drugs they also supplied other criminal organizations with boats, fuel, food and crews. 100 people have been detained and 5,040 kilos of hashish and 230 kilos of marijuana buds have been seized.
Furthermore, a fake weapon, a stun gun, as well as 5 vehicles including two trucks, computers, navigation and communication equipment, and numerous documents have been seized.
Guardia Civil and Policía Nacional have dismantled a criminal network of French origin, trafficking drugs fast to other countries. They were dedicated to intensive cultivation of marijuana on farms in sparsely inhabited areas, as well as the acquisition and stockpiling of large consignments from other suppliers. 11 searches have been carried out and 14 people have been detained.
The leader of one of the most active criminal organizations in the Northeast of France has been arrested in a luxurious penthouse in Marbella, from where he has coordinated much of the criminal activity of this criminal organization. Sex people have been detained and 590 kilograms of hashish, a gun, 24,000 euros in cash and numerous luxurious vehicles have been seized in several actions carried out in a coordinated manner in France and Spain, coordinated by EUROPOL.
